a beautiful mind: i liked this rather a lot, although i kept getting angry with john nash. also, it talked a lot about math. stupid math. but despite that, it was quite good.
the books of magic: a very interesting take on the whole boy-wizard genre. neil gaiman does harry potter. (although really, chronologically i suppose it should be jk rowling does the books of magic.) i didn't like it as well as i do sandman, but it's nonetheless quite good. and 3/7 endless make an appearance! oh!! and. john constantine is in prelude and nocturnes, i believe... maybe it's later. let me check on that... yeaah, he is. so that's cool.
28 days: good movie if you're not in the mood for anything too deep. rather amusing, and has a pseudo-british gay-mark-ish character. also, a clean viggo mortensen. i feel like there's something else i've seen/read lately that i should review... hmmm. meh well.

so, i did end up buying the i am sam soundtrack. i mostly like it, espeeecially sheryl crow's cover of "mother nature's son". also, i was just forced to watch the movie unfaithful with my parents. i do not recommend it. it's not good enough to really enjoy (imho), nor is it cheesy enough to properly mist. aah well. the cute little kid from malcolm in the middle is in it, though.

Just finished reading Tommy's Tale by Alan Cumming for the second time. Ok I have to admit I love this book. If for nothing else than the YUMMMMMY pic of Alan on the back. *snicket* But yeah ok this isnt some great work of literature but it is a fun easy read. And he uses the word snog......A LOT! *snickets merrily* Apparently Americans love to use the word snog or somesuch I dunno.....lol So yeah go read it!
