*cracks knuckles* let's see i know i'm slow on this one... road to perdition was really beautiful, but SO sad.

the kindly ones is possibly the most amazing sandman book i've read to date. (i'm not going to rule out the possibility that the wake will be better... but i'm not sure how it could be *flail*)

men at arms by terry pratchett was very funny and cool. and an interesting statement about guns. *nod*

end of the summer by dar williams... is a good cd. not a great cd. about half the songs on it i really like, and the other half are okay.

also, i highly recommend hello kitty bandaids. their sheer cuteness will heal your wounds!

All that don't see My Big Fat Greek Wedding will be publicly flogged. I just saw it again last night (with all my friends), and I was reminded of how amazingly hilarious it was. Fabulous, fabulous movie! Other recent movies of note include Read My Lips (Sur Mes Levres), a French movie whose main redeeming quality is that it's acronym is RML. It's about a partially-deaf girl who gets in a relationship with an ex-con. Marcelina really enjoyed it, but I wasn't as fond of it. *shrugs* I've also recently seen XXX, which is not nearly as cool as James Bond, because the actor doesn't have a charming accent. It's nice to know that the world can have such admirable idols who refuse to condone cigarettes, but feel perfectly comfortable with excessive alcohol consumption, mass destruction for the sheer enjoyment, and wild hot monkey sex with a stranger. Let's see... Men in Black 2 was a huge disappointment, but generally okay. I've also seen Signs recently, which was terrifyingly suspenseful and absolutely awesome until the last 15 minutes. I'm officially afraid of the dark again. Grr, why do these movies have such power over me? Hiss. Anyway, last but not least, Goldmember was not nearly as enjoyable as the first two Austin Powers movies, but was still amusing. It appeared that Mike Myers had the uninterruptable goal to include as many pop-culture celebrity cameos as possible. Lots of recycled gags, but enough new material to get a good laugh.

So hurrah, hurrah for Priscilla's demented summer movie review. Go decide for yourself.

I'm still cross that I didn't get to see Powerpuff Girls.
