In years past, Kait and I have both counted down our favorite books read in end-of-year wrap-up podcast episodes<\/a>. Since 2020 was a different kind of year, our end of year podcast episode was a little different this year too. But I still read a lot of great books and wanted to take the opportunity to pick my own Top Ten. As in other years on the podcast, I’m counting books I\u00a0read<\/em> this year, even if they weren’t published in 2020. I’m also not attempting to make a balanced list or account for some kind of “objective” quality–these were the best books for me,\u00a0<\/em>based on my own finnicky internal tastes.<\/p>\n
